Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build custom software in Go to enhance the platform's reliability, resiliency, and redundancy.
  • •Partner with engineering teams to embed reliability principles, improving availability, performance, and observability of services.
  • •Identify opportunities for improvement within the product using infrastructure and observability principles and implement solutions.
  • •Contribute to on-call rotation, providing rapid response to critical incidents and troubleshooting production issues.
  • •Develop and refine SRE tooling and processes, focusing on automation and operational efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •Proficiency in at least one programming language with a preference for Go; comfortable writing custom applications
  • •Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform), container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and GitOps (ArgoCD)
  • •Experience with a major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • •Strong understanding of microservices, databases (SQL, NoSQL), and networking fundamentals
  • •Experience in an on-call rotation for a 24/7 cloud-based environment
