Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute and ensure product development process deliverables during New Product Introduction phases in collaboration with systems, electrical, mechanical, software, and test engineering counterparts.
  • •Drive product development and production for quad-copter drones, including drawings/work instruction reviews, process development, inspection and acceptance test performance management, and end-of-line metrics.
  • •Resolve quality ambiguities impacting quality and reliability goals for volume production; design and lead the product quality plan.
  • •Provide product ownership for MRO dispositioning of customer-owned hardware and lead troubleshooting/root cause analysis with Reliability Engineering and cross-functional teams.
  • •Lead RCCA, MRB, and inspection process performance; analyze product health data and drive continuous improvement of quality processes and documentation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar STEM fields.
  • •8+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or quality in drone systems, cameras/sensors, aeronautics/defense systems, or similar hardware.
  • •Hands-on experience with system architecture and precision mechanical/electrical design review (e.g., PCBA, harnessing, avionics, systems integration, composites, propulsion).
  • •Experience driving product quality and performance requirements into test and measurement system development and optimization.
  • •Working knowledge of quality planning and manufacturing quality methods such as FMEA, APQP, PPAP elements (including MSA), and GD&T.
