Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead assigned B1 engineers to ensure safe, efficient aircraft maintenance and repair for airline and third-party aircrafts in accordance with airline and regulatory requirements.
  • •Oversee Category C authorization by verifying maintenance task completion to required standards and allocating work to B1 engineers and lead technicians to meet timelines and compliance needs.
  • •Monitor shift progress and performance, provide guidance to base maintenance engineers and lead technicians, and deliver regular feedback to the Shift Manager.
  • •Perform B1 certifying engineer duties: scheduled maintenance per task cards, inspections and testing to identify defects, defect troubleshooting and rectification, and sign-off within authorization scope.
  • •Manage human factors and continuity of critical maintenance tasks, ensure safety measures and procedures are followed, and initiate cost-saving projects within the B1 scope.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold an EASA Part 66 or GCAA CAR 66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance License (unrestricted) and company maintenance approvals on the Airbus A320/A321, with 2+ years of experience.
  • •2+ years of B1 Engineer experience in ABY Base / Hangar Maintenance, including 1 year in a team leading capacity with Cat C authorization experience (internal candidates).
  • •In-depth knowledge of B1 maintenance practices and GCAA standards.
  • •Ability to lead and guide a team of aircraft engineers and technicians.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office; fluent English (verbal and written).
