Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and develop arrangement and detail conceptual, FEED, study, and detail design drawings to a high technical standard.
  • •Develop 3D models and ensure clash-free coordination with other disciplines.
  • •Ensure design deliverables are completed and issued per specifications, MDR, procedures, and within schedules and budgets.
  • •Act as Lead Designer/Design Coordinator: direct team resources, coordinate interdisciplinary activities, and forecast/plan manpower needs.
  • •Serve as discipline point of contact: raise/answer technical queries, document substantive communications, and support audits, design reviews, and change notifications.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate with a diploma in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Design, or Drafting in a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • •Minimum 14 years of experience with a major contractor or consultant, including 9+ years predominately in offshore oil and gas.
  • •Detailed knowledge of associated industry detailing standards and codes.
  • •Detailed knowledge of 3D and 2D drafting and material control systems (AutoCAD and/or MicroStation).
  • •Working and/or reviewing experience in PDMS and/or PDS/SPM.
