Job Summary

Support customers in big data projects by designing and delivering data acquisition, transformations, cleansing, conversion, compression, and loading into data lakes for analytics and machine learning. Key Responsibilities

•Support customers in big data projects and serve as a bridge between Data Science and Data Engineering.
•Partner with business analysts and solution architects to understand use cases, data needs, and outcome objectives.
•Deliver data acquisition, transformations, cleansing, conversion, compression, and loading into data lakes for analytics and machine learning models.
•Build proofs of concept using appropriate techniques, data sources, and technologies to address business needs.
•Migrate workloads from on-premise to cloud and monitor distributed infrastructure using Azure tools or open-source tools.

Key Requirements

•Working experience in a cloud-native environment in at least one of GCP/AWS/Azure, with 5 years of Databricks experience preferred.
•Experience and knowledge of Big Data architectures, including cloud and on-premise.
•Azure infrastructure and networking working experience.
•Proven experience with Java, Scala, Python, and shell scripting, plus SQL knowledge.
•Working experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure ETL/ELT tools, including relevant Azure/Databricks certification.
