Key Responsibilities

  • •Support customers in big data projects and serve as a bridge between Data Science and Data Engineering.
  • •Partner with business analysts and solution architects to understand use cases, data needs, and outcome objectives.
  • •Deliver data acquisition, transformations, cleansing, conversion, compression, and loading into data lakes for analytics and machine learning models.
  • •Build proofs of concept using appropriate techniques, data sources, and technologies to address business needs.
  • •Migrate workloads from on-premise to cloud and monitor distributed infrastructure using Azure tools or open-source tools.

Key Requirements

  • •Working experience in a cloud-native environment in at least one of GCP/AWS/Azure, with 5 years of Databricks experience preferred.
  • •Experience and knowledge of Big Data architectures, including cloud and on-premise.
  • •Azure infrastructure and networking working experience.
  • •Proven experience with Java, Scala, Python, and shell scripting, plus SQL knowledge.
  • •Working experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure ETL/ELT tools, including relevant Azure/Databricks certification.
