Senior cost engineering professional responsible for leading cost control across multiple projects within the Energy & Natural Resources programme. You’ll tailor cost control approaches, develop CBS/WBS-aligned budgets, produce robust cost reports, and collaborate with project teams to ensure delivery on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards.

Job Function: Energy & Utilities Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Tailor cost control approaches to meet client needs and implement cost control systems to track budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts
•Develop and maintain an integrated PMB and support change control process within the project team
•Create and align CBS with WBS and manage costs across work packages, planning packages and control accounts
•Map cost estimates to WBS and set project budgets for the correct Work Packages and Control Accounts
•Adhere to NEC or FIDIC contract processes for cost data management and reporting

Key Requirements

•Professional Project Controls experience specialising in Cost Engineering/Control across the project lifecycle
•Detailed understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), progress reporting, forecasting and performance reporting
•BPSS level security clearance or ability to obtain
•Member of a relevant professional body (e.g., APM, PMI)
•Experience leading Cost Control Assurance activities and coordinating with Scheduling, Risk, Reporting and Change Control
