Key Responsibilities

  • •Research, evaluate, select, and qualify electronic components for new product development and sustaining programs to meet design, performance, reliability, regulatory, and cost requirements.
  • •Own component lifecycle and supply risk management, including technical triage of Product Change Notifications, obsolescence planning, alternate qualification, and single-source risk mitigation.
  • •Maintain and improve component libraries, specifications, lifecycle data, and BOM health information in partnership with Procurement and cross-functional teams.
  • •Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and procurement to resolve component-related technical issues and support failure analysis and root cause investigations.
  • •Develop and continuously improve processes for component selection, qualification, standardization, lifecycle management, compliance, and data quality across NPI and sustaining programs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 195,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •5+ years of experience in electronic component engineering, component management, electrical engineering, or related hardware engineering.
  • •Strong knowledge of electronic components (semiconductors, resistors, capacitors, connectors) and how they apply in electronic designs.
  • •Experience with component selection, qualification, lifecycle management, electrical testing, reliability requirements, failure analysis, and alternate component evaluation.
  • •Familiarity with component lifecycle and BOM management practices, including obsolescence, PCNs, sourcing risk, alternate availability, and PLM/component management systems.
