Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as Commission Manager with responsibility for end-to-end service delivery for large/complex commissions.
  • •Act as key day-to-day client interface and ensure delivery of a value-added cost management service.
  • •Conduct feasibility studies, produce procurement reports, apply value management, and manage estimating and cost planning to present the final cost plan.
  • •Lead procurement activities (pre-qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection, contract preparation) and manage post-contract cost variances and change control.
  • •Manage monthly post-contract cost reporting, negotiate and agree final accounts, and develop new business opportunities and bid support.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven cost/commercial management experience for major programmes and projects.
  • •Preferably MRICS.
  • •Experience with NEC3 contracts, in particular Option C – Target Cost.
  • •Post-contract administration experience, including cost variances and change control.
  • •Experience leading and managing teams.
