Job Summary

Lead the technical product strategy and 3-year roadmap for a smart home hardware ecosystem, evolving standalone devices into a cohesive, intelligent platform. Key Responsibilities

•Define and execute a multi-year hardware portfolio roadmap for core Vivint devices, including intelligent cameras, panels, sensors, and perimeter security devices.
•Orchestrate how hardware endpoints, cloud platforms, and local connectivity protocols work together to deliver a unified, frictionless ecosystem.
•Drive an AI feature roadmap for embedded and cloud-based AI experiences, transforming reactive hardware into predictive systems.
•Lead technical deep-dive documentation (e.g., PRFAQs, 3-Year Operating Plans) to align VP+ stakeholders on investments, trade-offs, and dependencies.
•Directly manage and mentor a team of Technical Product Managers and own post-launch analytics and operational review mechanisms across the portfolio.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 209,600 - 345,840 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years shipping complex consumer electronics, IoT devices, or integrated smart home ecosystems.
•Experience coordinating with software engineers, hardware architects, and data/AI scientists, with familiarity with smart home standards (e.g., Matter, Zigbee, Thread).
•3+ years directly managing and developing technical product professionals with experience scaling team capabilities.
•Strong autonomous strategic mindset to define long-term product frameworks and make high-impact decisions in ambiguity.
•B.S. or M.S. in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering); MBA or equivalent preferred.
