Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end MX brand marketing strategy and execution for flagship launches, always-on campaigns, and category-building initiatives across Canada.
  • •Develop consumer segmentation strategy and activate it across campaigns, partnerships, and brand experiences.
  • •Lead brand partnership development and management to create consumer value and extend Samsung’s cultural relevance.
  • •Manage agency-of-record relationships across creative, media, PR, and social, including briefing quality and business reviews.
  • •Lead and develop the Brand Marketing team, including performance management and coaching, and oversee Division Marketing Communications budgets with Finance and Audit guidance.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of progressive brand marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a people leadership role.
  • •Led national brand campaigns from insight to execution, with the ability to explain brand-building vs activation investment.
  • •Built or stewarded meaningful brand partnerships and programs that create consumer value.
  • •Experience leading agency-of-record relationships across creative and media, including constructive feedback and brief quality.
  • •Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent is an asset.
