Job Summary

Senior Transport Planner/Modeller responsible for leading multi-disciplinary transportation planning projects in Abu Dhabi, delivering transport modelling, master planning and impact studies, coordinating junior staff, and ensuring quality delivery with experience in STEAM and industry software. Will work on ensuring project delivery, data handling, and technical reporting for a regional transportation planning program.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage small to medium scale transportation planning projects and transportation planning inputs to multi-disciplinary projects.
•Carry out and support transport modelling, master planning and impact studies using industry standard software.
•Coordinate, manage and supervise junior colleagues’ workloads.
•Contribute to project delivery, QA/QC processes and procedural requirements for technical delivery of services.
•Prepare technical and commercial proposals for traffic study and master planning services.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Geography, Urban Planning or related field (mandatory).
•Masters Degree in Transportation Engineering and Planning (advantageous).
•Experience of 7-12 years in transportation engineering and planning.
•Membership of a professional institution or society such as CIHT, ICE or TPS (preferred).
•Experience with transport modelling software such as Cube Voyager; PTV Visum; PTV Vissim, SIDRA, Synchro, HCS+.
