Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts.
  • •Diagnose equipment issues using real-time data to determine root cause and corrective action.
  • •Practice safe job practices while performing repairs and preventive maintenance on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and at customer locations, handling repairs as needed.
  • •Maintain complete and timely paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed, and assist with equipment/parts pickup and delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read/understand schematics.
  • •Provide superior customer service with strong teamwork plus verbal and written communication skills.
  • •EPA 608 certification is preferred; if not already certified, obtain within 6–12 months of employment.
