Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide day-to-day management, leadership, and vision for the electrical team; develop team spirit and cooperation.
  • •Design and implement technical solutions for data centre operations, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • •Develop client relationships and grow the brand within the UK and EMEA, working with clients, developers, contractors, and architects to secure WSP’s position.
  • •Meet monthly and annual team budgets, support MEP budget planning, continuously improve performance, and maintain up-to-date forecasting.
  • •Work with director and senior leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives; oversee team performance including work pipeline and operational management.

Key Requirements

  • •Chartership through CIBSE/IET Engineering Council, or be open to working towards it.
  • •A profound understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, power generation, critical backup systems, and power/energy management systems.
  • •Ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex electrical challenges.
  • •Leadership skills to guide and inspire a team of electrical engineers and technicians, mentoring and effectively managing resources.
  • •Proficiency in project management to oversee planning, execution, and completion of electrical engineering projects, including timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
