Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in underground mining operations.
  • •Diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions promptly to reduce downtime.
  • •Ensure electrical work complies with federal, state, local safety regulations and mining industry standards.
  • •Collaborate with mining engineers and safety teams to plan and execute electrical projects and maintenance schedules.
  • •Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance, maintain maintenance/repair/inspection records, and respond to emergency electrical failures.

Key Requirements

  • •Valid electrician license or certification recognized in the United States.
  • •Proven experience working as an electrician in underground mining or a similarly hazardous environment.
  • •Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components used in mining operations.
  • •Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • •Physical ability to work in confined spaces and underground conditions safely.
