Job Summary

Mix, blend, and formulate ingredient batches into finished food products according to work orders, formulas, procedures, and quality standards. Verify batch weights and quantities, follow Good Manufacturing Practices, and safely lift and handle ingredients and drums. Sign off on raw materials, rework, and finished product data in computer-generated batch reports, and pull samples for quality analysis. Support the Team Leader and Production Supervisor with training and competency reviews.

Key Responsibilities

•Mix, blend, and formulate batches of raw ingredients into finished product per work orders, formulas, and quality standards.
•Verify batch weights and quantities using mathematical calculations.
•Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and report any known or observed violations to management.
•Lift and handle packages and heavier materials (including 55-gallon drums) safely.
•Sign off on raw materials, foreign material checks, rework, finished product, and batch report completion; pull product samples for quality analysis.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•3-5 years related experience.
•Previous food plant experience helpful.
•Ability to work independently and follow company safety and sanitation standards.
•Demonstrate ability to perform duties of Production Tech I and Production Tech II, including related equipment/processes and SAP.
