Job Summary

Perform a wide range of automotive repairs and diagnostics, from light maintenance to heavy engine work. Diagnose and repair advanced electrical issues, including on electric and hybrid vehicles, and complete repairs on wheel bearings, axles, and climate control systems. Work in Carvana’s high-tech Inspection Centers, using state-of-the-art tools, while meeting quality and safety requirements. Pay is hourly with mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform general to complex repairs on all makes and models, including timing belts, suspension systems, and heavy engine work.
•Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues, including work on electric and hybrid vehicles.
•Complete repairs for wheel bearings and axles.
•Repair vehicle climate control systems, including ACs and heater cores.
•Work to support vehicle reconditioning schedules, including willingness to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
•Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools, including lifting up to 60 pounds independently.
•At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license (some positions may be subject to an MVR check).
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold).
•Use safety equipment such as face shield/goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and protective garments.
