Job Summary

Lead mission-critical communications projects end-to-end, serving as the focal point for cross-functional teams delivering new or upgraded products and services. Own on-time, on-budget delivery and customer satisfaction, managing the quality/cost/time constraints, budgets, risks, change orders, and performance reporting. Coordinate internal resources and third parties, drive process improvement using Six Sigma/PMBOK methods, manage stakeholder communications, and support project close-out and on-site upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the focal point and lead cross-functional teams delivering new or upgraded mission-critical products/services from inception to completion (or transition).
•Ensure projects meet quality, deadline, and budget constraints; manage the three constraints of quality, cost, and time and oversee overall pre-tax profit.
•Develop project plans, track progress, and use tools such as schedule/critical path analysis, budgets, change orders, and risk assessments to resolve complex issues.
•Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors (including System Technologists, Field Service, Service Shop) to execute projects and manage scope, schedule, and costs changes.
•Act as primary communicator to the customer organization and relevant internal senior stakeholders through regular project reviews and status meetings.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•6+ years of experience in project management, LMR, RF systems, radio communications, wired/wireless communication systems, IT, Motorola, military, or public safety.
•Develop and manage complete project plans, deliverable dates, and progress using standard project management tools (e.g., critical path analysis, change order, risk assessment, action item logs).
•Understand and apply Six Sigma and project management methodologies with PMBOK knowledge required.
•Residency is mandatory in the State of Texas.
•Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required; employer work permit sponsorship is not available.
