Key Responsibilities

  • •Represent the owner construction/fabrication manager for third-party Chinese fabrication yards, overseeing daily production schedules and completion progress.
  • •Interpret and apply technical construction documents (shop drawings, piping isometrics, bills of quantities, vendor blueprints, and P&IDs) to support yard operations.
  • •Partner with QA/QC managers to enforce testing and inspection protocols (weld inspections, leak testing, non-destructive testing) and ensure dimensional control for tri-fit.
  • •Enforce international and localized Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations to instill a zero-harm culture in manufacturing yards.
  • •Coordinate with procurement to track bulk and free-issued materials, minimize bottlenecks, optimize shipping preparations, and report KPIs, budget variances, and risks to stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil/Structural Engineering, or equivalent industrial manufacturing experience.
  • •10–15 years hands-on heavy industrial manufacturing experience in modular skid fabrication or petrochemical plant construction.
  • •5–10 years supervisory or vendor-management experience leading cross-functional project teams.
  • •Deep knowledge of metal fabrication, ASME welding codes, structural steel codes, and manufacturing codes.
  • •Strong technical ability to interpret shop drawings, piping isometrics, bills of quantities, vendor blueprints, and P&IDs.
