Lead the design, maintenance, and release of AMD's Python packaging ecosystem. You will own publishing pipelines, CI/CD automation, and security of the software supply chain, collaborating with DevOps and open-source packaging teams to ensure reliable, reproducible package releases across Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities

•Publishing Pipeline: Contribute to the design, maintenance, and improvement of automated workflows for publishing Python packages.
•Build & Release Infrastructure: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate testing, linting, and release processes across our components.
•Security & Supply Chain: Implement signing, attestation, and vulnerability scanning as part of the release process, strengthening our software supply chain.
•Developer Experience: Reduce friction for engineers publishing packages by creating tooling, templates, and documentation that make packaging intuitive and consistent across teams.
•Packaging Standards & Collaboration: Shape packaging standards and improve release reproducibility and trustworthiness of our Python packages.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 92,960 - 132,800 annually

Key Requirements

•Strong Python proficiency and deep familiarity with the Python packaging ecosystem (PyPA standards, pyproject.toml, build backends such as setuptools, hatchling, flit, or poetry, wheel/sdist formats, and package managers such as pip or uv).
•Proficiency in C/C++ and CMake, with the ability to troubleshoot build failures across a diverse set of packages.
•Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for package releases.
•Proven experience with PyPI publishing workflows and package registry concepts.
•Experience maintaining or contributing to open-source Python libraries; familiarity with software supply chain security practices (Sigstore, SBOM, SLSA, Dependabot).
