Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee ASR collection, processing, and treatment, including NF metal recovery and fluff stockpiling to comply with state regulations.
  • •Maintain a safe work environment by implementing safety standards and SOPs and ensuring employees receive timely safety and operational training.
  • •Provide leadership to JP department staff across shifts by scheduling work to achieve optimal production rates with minimal overtime.
  • •Oversee equipment and plant operations, including repair/maintenance coordination and planning for major projects, downtime, and timelines.
  • •Monitor production reports and quality controls, discuss off-spec materials before shipment, and manage departmental budgeting and staffing levels.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •5-10 years of manufacturing work experience, with 2-5 years of managerial experience.
  • •Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of manufacturing processes, including experience managing and leading a work crew.
  • •Ability to learn ASR treatment systems and operate/maintain equipment (e.g., chemical treatment pumps, Induction Sorting System (ISS), eddy current separators (ECS), PLC controls).
  • •Experience with continuous improvement initiatives, production metrics, and managing a departmental budget with capital expenditure justification.
