Job Summary

Drive the technical side of the sales cycle for enterprise cybersecurity opportunities, from RFIs through RFPs/RFQs and active POCs in partnership with internal teams, customers, and partners. Serve as the primary technical point of contact, translating customer requirements into winning solutions and presenting confidently via whiteboards and technical materials. Manage multiple deals in parallel and maintain accurate technical account information in Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead technical aspects of the sales cycle from initial RFIs through RFPs/RFQs when required.
•Participate in POCs and manage project activities in partnership with internal teams, customers, and/or commercial partners.
•Serve as primary technical point of contact for customers and partners in close collaboration with the sales partner.
•Continuously improve knowledge of Fortinet products/solutions and the competitive landscape to support long-lasting protection.
•Position Fortinet solutions remotely or in person using whiteboarding, technical white papers, technical plans, and customer discussions; manage multiple deals and maintain CRM technical activity data.

Key Requirements

•High aptitude for cybersecurity domains including network, SIEM, endpoint security, incident response, and forensics; CISSP would be beneficial.
•Experience in a pre-sales engineer role owning end-to-end technical aspects of deals through technical closure.
•Demonstrated problem-solving skills and measurable impact on key wins.
•Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technical information to external and internal stakeholders.
•Strong understanding of firewall, intrusion prevention, sandboxing, encryption and hashing, and familiarity with ZTA.
