Job Summary

Operate and optimize thermoforming production lines by ensuring safe startup/shutdown, maintaining uptime, and adjusting process parameters to meet part quality requirements. Lead operators on packaging procedures, verify paperwork/labels, and troubleshoot equipment issues with support groups while applying SQF/GMP and EHS directives.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure personal and coworker safety by complying with EHS directives and plant safety rules and maintaining a clean work area on assigned equipment.
•Verify part quality by pulling samples for QA, adjusting process parameters to correct quality concerns, and ensuring documentation is completed during the shift.
•Manage safe and efficient startup/shutdown of thermoforming lines and ensure lines are correctly set to produce parts.
•Record process parameters (e.g., speeds, melt temperature, pressures) and production results accurately into data systems, and maintain correct fluid and lubricant levels.
•Ensure operators follow packaging procedures, troubleshoot equipment issues with support groups, and coordinate actions with QA when product must be placed on hold.
