Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and organize airframe-level structural analysis work to deliver structural integrity artifacts for verification and validation.
  • •Provide guidance and direction to structural analysis SMEs and technical leads to align criteria, methods, and practices across teams and sites.
  • •Serve as the point of contact for external customers and internal stakeholders needing technical information on structural integrity plans and deliverables.
  • •Partner with cross-functional engineers to apply Model-Based Systems Engineering for digital design, analysis, and V&V of the airframe.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Aerospace, Mechanical, or Civil.
  • •20+ years of related work experience (or equivalent technical education and experience).
  • •Strong understanding of Airworthiness Certification processes and Aircraft Structural Integrity Program requirements (e.g., MIL-STD-516, MIL-STD-1530).
  • •Demonstrated expertise in structural analysis techniques for composite/metallic airframe components, including Finite Element Analysis, simulation, and durability/damage tolerance.
  • •Experience with structural test planning, execution, support, and data reduction; strong communication and organizational skills.
