Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Interface with the project manager of each Antenna Project to define the make or buy strategy
  • •Study and define the overall MGSE (H/W & S/W) architecture
  • •Prepare MGSE (H/W & S/W) Technical and Procurement Specification and SOW related to Containers, trolley, lifting device, 0 G deployment system, supporting frame (and other specific MGSE) for all the qualification / acceptance test campaign
  • •Create 3d CATIA model for MGSE dedicated to programs and facilities within Space rules and laws
  • •Generation of 2D parts drawings in CATIA
  • •Generation of 2D assembly drawings in CATIA
  • •Generation of required model for thermal and mechanical analyses inputs
  • •Follow the selection of Suppliers working with Purchasing Office, manage all the technical development by external Supplier up to the delivery of MGSE; manage the technical activities of internal / external resources in case of make (typically 5-6)
  • •Define and consolidate budget for MGSE procurement
  • •Rda management and emission
  • •Monitoring of MGSE procurement (Design Reviews and Acceptance Test Reviews)
  • •Ensure Availability of MGSE according to AIT schedule
  • •Ensure MGSE /H/W and S/W) Validation on site
  • •Support CAM and AIT Manager for Cost & Schedule control as applicable for MGSE
  • •Procurement

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma (Aeronautical or mechanical specialization) preferred, Mechanical engineering degree (or equivalent)
  • •Good knowledge and experience of 3D CAD tools (CATIA preferred) for Mechanical Design
  • •Knowledge of relevant drawing standard
  • •Knowledge of Geometric Tolerance best practice
  • •Knowledge of manufacturing techniques (metals and composites) and how these affect design.
