Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver solutions around Apache Airflow and the Astronomer platform for successful post-sales implementations.
  • •Architect and implement scalable data engineering frameworks and solutions using Apache Airflow across different environments and use cases.
  • •Educate and guide customers on Airflow best practices, including performing refactoring assessments for new and existing customers.
  • •Review and optimize customer data workflows and Airflow system configurations to improve performance.
  • •Collect customer feedback and identify Airflow/Astronomer improvements, relaying recommendations back to Product.

Key Requirements

  • •3-5 years of data-engineering experience, ideally with Apache Airflow in production environments.
  • •Experience creating DAGs, writing Python, and building Airflow custom operators and hooks.
  • •Experience implementing ETL/ELT pipelines, including data transformations, and optimizing/monitoring data pipelines.
  • •Experience with related analytics/data-platform products such as Cloudera, Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • •Strong communication and customer-facing collaboration skills, including working empathetically and prioritizing effectively.
