Job Summary

Own end-to-end global component supply planning for specific commodities to help drive Cisco’s revenue targets. Partner with Supply Chain Operations and global hub teams to optimize inbound fulfillment, manage inventory decisions aligned to Weeks of Supply, and mitigate component shortages through agile collaboration. Lead Excess & Obsolescence risk management, develop supplier/commodity strategies, and coordinate NPI and technology transitions across Engineering, Hubs, Finance, and Business Units.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and execute end-to-end global supply plans for related commodities, including co-planning initiatives with key suppliers.
•Partner with global hub operations to optimize inbound fulfillment modes and own inventory decision-making aligned with Weeks of Supply (WOS) and financial goals.
•Proactively identify and resolve component shortages through agile communication and rapid problem-solving with regional partners and global suppliers.
•Use advanced analytical techniques to manage Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) risks and maximize total revenue potential.
•Lead commodity supply response to technology transitions, coordinating with Engineering, Hubs, and Suppliers for New Product Introduction (NPI) ramp-ups and supplier/commodity strategy alignment.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience with Materials Management, Supplier Relationship Management, and/or Supply/Demand Planning.
•Experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
•Experience with data analysis, data analytics, and data modeling.
