Job Summary

Lead Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) strategy and performance for the Valves Technology Center (VTC) site in Pasadena, TX. Own onsite day-to-day HSE support, act as the HSE subject-matter expert, and partner with operational leaders to implement HSE programs, risk assessments, and corrective actions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and internal HSE standards while driving continuous improvement and strengthening site safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide onsite day-to-day HSE support for local site personnel and serve as the people leader for the local HSE.
•Own safety strategy and performance, including emergency preparedness, environmental compliance, industrial safety, and regulatory requirements.
•Partner with local operational leaders, project managers, and field teams to develop, implement, and monitor HSE programs, risk assessments, and improvement initiatives.
•Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and conformance to internal HSE policies and standards.
•Lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective action processes; manage HSE strategy alignment to global FC&SS goals and KPIs; support audits and inspections.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a Health, Safety and/or Environmental-related field, Engineering, or Sciences.
•Minimum 5 years of experience in direct HSE roles, preferably supporting manufacturing operations and field-based teams.
•Demonstrated experience managing large HSE programs with environmental regulatory requirements and leading incident investigations and risk management activities.
•Technical knowledge of relevant HSE regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA) and industry standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence and guide operational leaders.
