Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, test, remove, and maintain Threat-Integrated Air Defense Systems (T-IADS) kits and equipment for the Army aviation fleet.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair military simulators using technical procedures and test equipment; replace components and wiring circuits.
  • •Perform on-site maintenance in accordance with technical data and best commercial standards; maintain required manuals, documentation, spares, and tools.
  • •Record accurate maintenance history and update work order and repair corrective measures in the Management Information System (MIS).
  • •Conduct equipment inspection and inventory before and after live-fire training events; support cross training and may supervise junior technicians when required.

Key Requirements

  • •AA degree or 3 years equivalent education
  • •3+ years of related experience maintaining US Army TADSS and/or military experience preferred
  • •Experience using technical manuals, schematics, and drawings to perform maintenance
  • •Ability to learn the W-TRS Management Information System (MIS) for documenting work orders and property control
  • •Ability to wear PPE and lift up to 50 lbs; ability to obtain/maintain a valid state driver’s license and travel documents as required
