Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist Herd Technicians with routine animal care and general farm tasks to ensure animal welfare.
  • •Feed, water, vaccinate, and perform general animal husbandry and basic veterinary procedures.
  • •Sanitize and wash farm areas using high pressure equipment.
  • •Assist with moving animals and maintaining efficient animal flows.
  • •Process piglets (inject medications, castrate, dock tails, ear notch) and treat sick animals per direction, maintaining production records and following SOPs.
