Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect vehicles and work areas and clean/determine readiness after reconditioning to meet customer specifications and auction standards.
  • •Clean interiors (remove debris/trash, vacuum, scrub/shampoo/spot clean upholstery, straighten seatbelts, return required glove box materials).
  • •Wash and detail exteriors including power-washing, applying chemicals, cleaning engine compartment and battery terminals, and polishing/waxing painted surfaces.
  • •Clean and dress trim and vehicle components (doorjambs, sills, panels, wheels/tires/hub caps, wheel wells, moldings, bumpers, lights, windows, and weather stripping).
  • •Follow all safety and health procedures, participate in safety activities, and perform other assigned duties including occasional driving within the facility.

Key Requirements

  • •Generally, less than 2 years’ experience in a related field.
  • •Valid driver’s license and safe driving ability (able to drive standard and automatic vehicles).
  • •Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, squat, and lean for extended periods.
  • •Basic knowledge of auto detailing, paint application processes, and associated repair procedures (preferred).
  • •Clear a pre-employment drug test and be in a drug-free workplace.
