Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide CX technical leadership for assigned portfolio/platforms, defining key information needs at each development milestone.
  • •Serve as packaging design consumer research SME and architect end-to-end CX learning plans with decision framing, success criteria, and evidence standards.
  • •Select and advise on appropriate methods across learning phases, aligning rigor to risk and timeline.
  • •Lead high-stakes stakeholder readouts by synthesizing findings and tailoring storyline for executive vs. technical audiences; ensure implications are clear and actionable.
  • •Evaluate, pilot, and standardize emerging CX methods and analytics, coach partners and scientists, and audit vendor strategy, performance, and data integrity.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree minimum in a related field (Consumer Behavior/Psychology, Marketing Research, Engineering, Food Science, Human Factors, Industrial Design, or related STEM), with an advanced degree preferred.
  • •6+ years (BS), 5+ years (MS), or 4+ years (PhD) in consumer/product research or applied insights supporting product development and commercialization, with CPG or food & beverage strongly preferred.
  • •Recognized expertise in CX research methods (qualitative and quantitative), including end-to-end study design, instrument development, analysis planning, synthesis, and storytelling.
  • •Proven ability to influence product and packaging innovation/renovation by translating consumer needs into clear experience requirements and decision criteria.
  • •Direct experience in consumer research methodology focused on packaging technical design, with strong technical oversight to QA vendor work and ensure quality and evidence standards.
