Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and operate discovery workflows across the full EDRM lifecycle, including preservation, collection, processing, hosting, review, and production for ESI and novel/AI-specific data types.
  • •Own the operational design and execution of the legal hold program, including custodian identification, hold issuance/tracking, re-notification, acknowledgments, and defensible release.
  • •Stand up and administer the discovery technology stack, configuring and administering RelativityOne and related tooling, analytics, access controls, templates, and reusable workspaces.
  • •Manage the discovery vendor program end-to-end, including onboarding, statements of work, pricing models, SLAs, performance reviews, and continuous improvement across providers.
  • •Integrate AI and automation into discovery operations (e.g., generative-AI-assisted review, advanced analytics, custom Relativity apps, and agentic workflow automation) and support active matters by surfacing operational risk and cost trade-offs to counsel.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on discovery experience across the full EDRM lifecycle with demonstrated ownership on complex matters in legal, government, law firm, or vendor settings.
  • •Built or rebuilt discovery operations from the ground up, including defining the operating model, selecting platforms/vendors, and writing defensible playbooks at scale.
  • •Working knowledge of major discovery platforms (RelativityOne), including administration, search/analytics, TAR/predictive coding, custom application development, and AI workflows.
  • •Strong understanding of the Federal Rules on discovery and evidence, ESI preservation obligations, and ability to translate them into operational workflows.
  • •Experience operating discovery across modern enterprise data sources (Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Box, mobile, engineering systems) and managing discovery vendor programs (SLAs, pricing models, performance management).
