Key Responsibilities

  • •Handle service tickets in ServiceNow, interpret architecture diagrams, and construct rule sets based on them.
  • •Manage firewalling, network filters, intrusion prevention policies, and support enterprise/stores/cloud network environments.
  • •Operate and troubleshoot networking protocols and concepts including routing (OSPF, BGP), VLAN/sub-netting, load balancing, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, TLS, and SSH.
  • •Provide site-to-site and remote-access VPN connectivity and support network access control and AAA (including multi-factor authentication) plus web proxy and URL filtering.
  • •Create, document, and maintain network security policies and exceptions; support 7/24 on-call incident response and escalation procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5-8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 4+ years, or equivalent experience.
  • •3+ years working with Palo Alto Firewall.
  • •At least one entry-level vendor certification in network security (Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE preferred, or Cisco CCNA/CCNP Security, Juniper JNCIA-SEC/JNCIS-SEC, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • •Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • •Excellent oral and written communication plus troubleshooting and implementation skills.
