Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with product leads and team members on design and development of systems using COTS computing and networking products.
  • •Design COTS hardware infrastructure systems (e.g., x86-based processors).
  • •Research and select COTS hardware components including servers, workstations, interface cards, and storage devices.
  • •Engineer BIOS and operating system configuration definitions.
  • •Perform lab-based work and support safety-critical system development, integration, and test activities, including occasional domestic and potential international travel.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience developing and implementing computing, networking, and IT infrastructure through rigorous design and documentation.
  • •Experience taking a system design from block diagram/requirements to complete COTS-based hardware design and verification via integration and test plans.
