Key Responsibilities

•Support preparation of high-quality, commercially astute bids and tenders for water science services.
•Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure resources, budgets, and controls meet programme and budget requirements.
•Plan and implement complex monitoring and fieldwork, such as water quality monitoring, flow gauging, and hydromorphological surveys.
•Deliver high-quality water science/hydrology consultancy and advisory services for internal and external clients through check and review processes.
•Use modelling and analysis tools to review data empirically and develop technically robust solutions to complex hydrological issues.

Key Requirements

•Have a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject such as geography, physical sciences, chemistry, maths, or engineering.
•Experience in hydrology (including low flows and flood risk) and in hydromorphology, water quality and/or hydroecology for aquatic systems.
•Proficiency applying hydrological software and environmental modelling across hydrology, hydraulics, water quality, or water resources.
•Proficiency in GIS software.
•Strong report-writing skills and the ability to clearly present complex technical information visually and orally to a wide audience.
