Key Responsibilities

  • •Define the IPV methodology and related Liquidity/Model/Deal Specific Valuation Adjustments in line with compliance requirements.
  • •Create and operationalize standard processes to execute the methodology, largely using Python-based infrastructure.
  • •Review and approve market data constructions, functions, and models used in production to value transactions.
  • •Review and challenge IPV processes performed by Business Finance and Control (BFC), including material/new deals and model/market data configuration changes.
  • •Lead the team and support strategic projects, partnering with Traders, Market Risk Management, Model Risk Management, FO Quants, BFC, and senior managers.

Key Requirements

  • •12-15 years of banking/financial services experience with strong valuation controls experience in Global Markets environments.
  • •5-10 years experience in valuation controls roles, including deep understanding of derivatives and Rates/FX/Commodities as an asset class.
  • •Qualified PhD/MBA/Masters in a quantitative field from a Tier I/II institute.
  • •Strong programming knowledge in Python and quantitative modeling skills.
  • •Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience leading technology-based change and interacting with senior global stakeholders and auditors.
