Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate plant machinery to manufacture, fill, and pack products following standard operating procedures.
  • •Ensure work is carried out safely and report/investigate near misses, incidents, and accidents.
  • •Set up batches and weigh/add materials; move batch materials as required.
  • •Complete related documentation accurately and provide handover to on-coming shifts.
  • •Clean vessels and machinery between campaigns to prevent cross-contamination; identify improvement/cost-saving opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong attention to detail.
  • •Strong numerical ability with GCSE Maths and English; chemistry or a technical qualification is advantageous.

  • •Forklift Licence or the capacity to learn.
  • •Awareness and understanding of Health & Safety.
