Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide basic Tier 1 support for SCADA systems, applications, and related infrastructure.
  • •Monitor SCADA servers and services and escalate issues as appropriate; assist with basic SCADA application configuration and system health checks.
  • •Perform scheduled operating system and application patching and assist with server maintenance (reboots, disk space management, service restarts, log reviews).
  • •Assist with SCADA server provisioning, upgrades, decommissioning, backup verification, antivirus status checks, and system hardening; participate in troubleshooting Windows OS, databases, and virtualization issues under senior staff direction.
  • •Provide desktop support for control room/SCADA users (workstation setup/replacement, peripheral support, software installation, and basic troubleshooting), respond to incidents/service requests/alarms, and follow documentation and compliance procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience).
  • •0–2 years of experience supporting IT systems, automation systems, or SCADA environments.
  • •Basic understanding of Windows server and desktop operating systems.
  • •Familiarity with patching, system maintenance, and basic troubleshooting concepts.
  • •Basic understanding of networking and cybersecurity principles.
