Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive and operate HGV Class 2 vehicles for refuelling and defueling of aircraft.
  • •Conduct aviation fuel quality assurance testing across bulk and mobile storage.
  • •Support airfield operations, including driving on airfields and public highways.
  • •Operate bulk fuel installations and maintain refuelling equipment.
  • •Participate in shift patterns and on-call rotas while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a Category C (HGV Class 2) driving licence.
  • •Hold a valid ADR certificate for Class 3 flammable liquids in tanks (desirable but not essential).
  • •Hold a Driver CPC qualification and up-to-date training (desirable but not essential).
  • •Meet Be Colour Perception (CP) standard – normal / Ishihara pass.
  • •Demonstrate a strong safety mindset and attention to detail; can work flexibly across shifts, including nights and on-call duties.
