Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage accounting processes for Poland, Ireland, France, and Spain to ensure accuracy and compliance with local regulations and group policies.
  • •Review and approve cost invoices and support month-end/year-end closing activities by preparing and reviewing financial data.
  • •Review P&L accounts to identify missing invoices, accruals, prepayments, and other discrepancies; reconcile balance sheet accounts.
  • •Prepare and review VAT and CIT returns, including financial statements for the Polish entity and coordinating external firms for other entities.
  • •Prepare audit documentation for statutory and group audits, and identify opportunities to improve and automate accounting processes using AI tools.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of professional accounting experience, including time in an independent role.
  • •Strong knowledge of Polish GAAP plus VAT and CIT regulations.
  • •Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent education).
  • •Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and financial reporting.
  • •Very good English and Excel skills, with analytical focus on process improvement and automation.
