Job Summary

Manage accounting operations for multiple Fresha group entities (Poland, Ireland, France, and Spain), ensuring compliance with local regulations and group policies. Own month-end and year-end closing support, review P&L accounts for discrepancies, reconcile balance sheet items, and prepare VAT/CIT returns and financial statements. Coordinate with external accounting firms and auditors, produce ad hoc reporting, and improve/automate processes using AI tools.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage accounting processes for Poland, Ireland, France, and Spain to ensure accuracy and compliance with local regulations and group policies.
•Review and approve cost invoices and support month-end/year-end closing activities by preparing and reviewing financial data.
•Review P&L accounts to identify missing invoices, accruals, prepayments, and other discrepancies; reconcile balance sheet accounts.
•Prepare and review VAT and CIT returns, including financial statements for the Polish entity and coordinating external firms for other entities.
•Prepare audit documentation for statutory and group audits, and identify opportunities to improve and automate accounting processes using AI tools.

Pay and Benefits

Key Requirements

•4+ years of professional accounting experience, including time in an independent role.
•Strong knowledge of Polish GAAP plus VAT and CIT regulations.
•Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent education).
•Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and financial reporting.
•Very good English and Excel skills, with analytical focus on process improvement and automation.
