Job Summary

Lead quantity surveying and cost management for major infrastructure, transportation, and public-sector projects in Abu Dhabi. Own preparation and oversight of cost plans, BOQs, cost reports, cash flow forecasts, CAPEX/OPEX analysis, value engineering, and life-cycle cost analysis. Provide commercial and cost consultancy advice across all project stages, manage procurement and tendering, and act as primary client point of contact for government and senior stakeholders while leading and mentoring quantity surveying teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the delivery of quantity surveying and cost management services across major infrastructure and transportation projects.
•Prepare, review, and oversee cost plans, detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), cost reports, cash flow forecasts, CAPEX/OPEX analysis, value engineering studies, life cycle cost analysis (LCCA), and cost benchmarking studies.
•Provide strategic commercial advice across all project stages from concept through completion and ensure compliance with industry best practices and client requirements.
•Lead commercial commissions by managing project budgets, forecasting, commercial reporting, and financial performance monitoring, and supporting cost control, change management, risk management, and procurement activities.
•Act as primary commercial point of contact for key clients, lead high-level meetings and presentations, manage procurement and tendering, and lead/mentor quantity surveying and commercial teams.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
•MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is preferred.
•Minimum 15 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Cost Management.
•Proven cost consultancy experience delivering commercial services on major infrastructure and transportation projects across the UAE.
•Proven track record leading and managing quantity surveying teams, with strong client-facing stakeholder management and procurement/tendering and contract administration knowledge.
