Key Responsibilities

•Manage recurring and non-recurring indirect tax functions, including review of tax returns, analysis, and day-to-day compliance operations and filings for U.S. jurisdictions.
•Maintain an internal indirect tax calendar and manage external service providers to ensure timely, accurate reporting and remittance.
•Identify and document compliance process enhancements and support operational process improvements focused on controls, automation, efficiency, and analytics.
•Assist with project work across business advisory, system implementation, financial reporting, product launches, and tax research.
•Support tax audits and controversies, including complex multi-state tax audits and taxability analysis for new product and feature launches.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or higher in Taxation, Accounting, or a related field.
•5 years of indirect state and tax experience in a public accounting firm, Government, and/or a US multinational company focused on sales/use taxes.
•Strong technical knowledge of U.S. indirect tax, especially Sales and Use Tax.
•Experience with recurring and non-recurring indirect tax compliance activities, including analysis and review of tax returns.
•Ability to communicate complex tax concepts and work effectively with non-tax professionals and multiple stakeholders.
