Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the engineering function for Application Platform Engineering, setting strategic direction and executing day-to-day.
  • •Own delivery, controls, and outcomes end-to-end with the Head of Application Platforms.
  • •Establish and operate governance, including prioritisation, delivery cadence, and decision-making forums.
  • •Define, implement, and track measurable engineering standards to improve quality, reliability, and consistency.
  • •Drive the migration and consolidation of six hosting platforms into a standard platform; improve resilience, observability practices, and automated operational run controls.

  • •14+ years of senior engineering leadership experience in platform engineering and/or large-scale application hosting environments.

  • •Ability to define and embed engineering standards with measurable outcomes such as reliability, quality, and delivery performance.
