Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement and drive WHS policies, programs, guidelines, training, and continuous safety improvement for the fulfillment center.
  • •Lead site-wide risk assessments and develop quarterly safety plans, monthly safety metrics, and safety recognition programs.
  • •Implement COSHH assessments for pharmaceutical active ingredients and laboratory chemicals, and manage industrial hygiene and ergonomics programs.
  • •Own regulated waste and overall regulatory compliance programs, serve as liaison to UK regulatory bodies, and respond to inspections with legal support.
  • •Coordinate respiratory fit testing and medical evaluations, manage on-site contract security and workers’ compensation, and ensure safety is incorporated into equipment, process, and building projects.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/BA degree in safety or a related field.
  • •12+ years of industry experience.
  • •5+ years leading WHS for large fulfillment centers.
  • •NEBOSH General Certificate.
  • •Experience with British Pharmacopeia (BP) reference standards and safety in a lab/compounding environment (preferred).
