Key Responsibilities

•As a technical member of the power architecture group, define AMD power roadmap and competitive targets for bounding box workloads with internal/external partners.
•Perform detailed workload analysis to identify high-value opportunities to increase power efficiency wrt performance/watt and battery life.
•Lead and drive power feature deployment across teams, providing process/flow recommendations and ensuring realization from concept to silicon attainment.
•Coordinate with SOC architects, IP design, systems engineering, and product engineering to ensure power feature realization from concept to emulation and silicon attainment.
•Model complex power use-case scenarios across the SoC roadmap, update pre-silicon models, and ensure aggressive power objectives for customer delivery.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related discipline preferred; several years of relevant commercial experience.
•Deep understanding of semiconductor power architecture and power delivery (on-die, substrate, silicon interposer, PCB).
•Strong C/C++ programming and automation & scripting skills; familiarity with software engineering concepts.
•Experience defining workloads, performing power/performance analysis, and driving cross-functional deployment of power features.
•Excellent analytical thinking, problem solving, organization, and the ability to collaborate across global teams.
