Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products that change how associates work and how customers interact.
  • •Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training, LLM inference, agents/multi-agent workflows, similarity search, guardrails, and evaluation.
  • •Invent and apply foundation model optimization techniques to improve scalability, cost, latency, and throughput of production AI systems.
  • •Implement scalable pipelines for training, fine-tuning, and deploying foundation or domain-specific models across environments, collaborating with research and data engineering teams on datasets and evaluation methods.
  • •Contribute to governance and security for traceability and version control of deployed AI assets, and mentor junior AI engineers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 161,800 - 201,400 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields plus 3+ years developing AI/ML algorithms or technologies, or a Master’s degree plus 1+ year.
  • •3+ years programming with Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java.
  • •Experience contributing to AI systems with tradeoff decisions across cost, latency, throughput, and accuracy.
  • •Experience deploying scalable and responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • •Experience building and evaluating LLM performance using quantitative metrics and optimizing training/inference for hardware utilization, latency, throughput, and cost.
