Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead or co-lead early design engagement for Cisco hardware products, integrating quality and reliability requirements from the start of NPI.
  • •Own investigation, containment, and corrective action of quality issues from inception through resolution using robust root cause analysis.
  • •Proactively identify and resolve complex quality problems, developing innovative approaches and leading major projects aligned to Quality organization objectives.
  • •Drive cross-functional engagement across Business Units, Manufacturing, Product Operations, and Customer Experience to lead complex quality projects impacting the business.
  • •Use sophisticated analytical thought and advanced statistical analysis to design process, product, and service improvements and inform decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering with at least 10 years of experience in quality and/or electronics hardware product design.
  • •Extensive experience in Product Quality Engineering, recognized as an expert within the field.
  • •Deep understanding of product architecture and product-level failure mechanisms.
  • •Ability to apply statistics and advanced analytics to identify innovative solutions based on industry trends and business needs.
  • •Ability to develop and lead cross-functional risk mitigation projects.
