Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out tool changes and setting for plastics moulding machinery (injection moulding).
  • •Troubleshoot machinery issues by identifying mechanical faults, setup issues, ancillary equipment settings, and production quality issues.
  • •Report supervisor on machine stops and machine faults, and raise maintenance work orders with fault details.
  • •Complete QC checks (visual and functional) and documentation, ensuring products meet specification with corrective/remedial action when needed.
  • •Perform regular safety checks, line clearances at changeovers, and ensure work is carried out per Health and Safety, Quality, and Environment procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Technical qualification minimum Level 2 in Engineering/Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
  • •Proven recent competence in a technical role within an engineering environment (e.g., motor mechanic, vehicle technician, machinist, service engineer).
  • •Logical, methodical approach to problem-solving and fault finding.
  • •Ability to work on own initiative, take responsibility for work/actions, and achieve objectives.
  • •Conscientious and thorough professional approach, including readiness to challenge existing practices and support continuous improvement.
