Job Summary

Provide L2 support for F5 load-balancing infrastructure, covering SLB (LTM) and global server load balancing (BIG-IP DNS/GTM) in a regulated banking environment. Handle complex incidents and service requests, perform proactive monitoring and health checks, and execute change requests for virtual servers, pools, iRules, and related security/network updates. Support patching, upgrades, audits, and incident root-cause remediation to ensure secure, high-availability traffic across data centers.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide Level 2 support for DMZ SLBs and perimeter GSLBs, resolving complex escalations from L1 teams.
•Perform routine health checks, proactive monitoring, and performance tuning of the load balancing infrastructure.
•Execute change requests for network and security modifications, including virtual server configurations, pool member updates, and iRule adjustments.
•Support patching, software upgrades, and hardware maintenance of F5 BIG-IP devices, including during non-business hours as needed.
•Implement and enforce security policies/best practices for banking (including PCI DSS), assist with audits, and coordinate incident analysis and remediation across teams.

Key Requirements

•4–6 years of relevant experience supporting load balancing and network environments.
•In-depth knowledge of F5 BIG-IP LTM (Local Traffic Manager) and GTM (Global Traffic Manager).
•Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, and R&S protocols including BGP and OSPF.
•Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade load balancers and their configuration/operations.
•Ability to follow change management and comply with security and regulatory requirements (including PCI DSS).
