Job Summary

Lead the Insurance Claims team to recover claims across all classes of insurance for Emirates Group and its Joint Venture Companies. Oversee technical claims management, including coverage analysis, notification and coordination with underwriters, surveyors, loss adjusters, and solicitors. Advise business units (UAE and worldwide), brief on insurance implications, support complex legal liability and crisis-response scenarios, and track loss ratios and trends to optimize recovery.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the Insurance Claims team and ensure timely recovery of claims across all insurance classes for Emirates Group and its Joint Venture Companies (UAE and worldwide).
•Analyze and evaluate insurance policy coverage terms, conditions, exclusions, and warranties to determine implications for recovery and claims processing.
•Ensure timely notification of claims to underwriters, surveyors, loss adjusters, solicitors, and responsible third parties to meet statutory insurance and legal requirements.
•Initiate, attend, and conduct insurance surveys and provide technical assessment of damage/loss; influence repair/replacement plans and negotiate salvage and interim claim payments.
•Provide managerial and technical support for high-value, complex, long-tail legal liability claims and corporate crisis management/emergency response planning.

Key Requirements

•At least 10 years of experience in Insurance Claims Management.
•A minimum Bachelors Degree in Business or Law.
•Insurance degree or diploma preferred.
•Experience at a middle management level managing insurance, liability, and indemnity aspects in contracts in a multinational corporation with global operations.
•Ability to be innovative in solving complex insurance claims issues.
